SocioMentors, an educational platform kickstarted by Sibil Manha, aims to provide quality sociology classes for Sociology Optional in the UPSC CSE examination for students from diverse educational backgrounds. To achieve our mission, we provide our students with quality study material for sociology, and enrich their understanding, by providing a paradigm of current affairs and application of sociological theories in the modern world.
At SocioMentors our goal is to continuously innovate Sociology as a subject such that Sociology becomes more appealing to the students. Our unique pedagogy combining current affairs with the syllabus and the content helps the student to better understand the subject and appreciate its relevance in the present society. From an exam point of view, Answer Writing Programme also forms the core of the online and classroom course.
The course structure includes weekly tests with detailed individual mentorship for every student so that students master answer writing along with subject content by the end of the course. Student Outreach and satisfaction is at core of SocioMentors and as such Classes and feedback sessions are arranged in hybrid mode as per the convenience of the students.
Every year 50% of the students who enroll with us for the Mains test series, reach the interview stage. We have even produced All India Rank 6- Meera K, in CSE 2020. Within a span of 3 years, we have become the leading coaching center for sociology in Kerala.

I had joined Sociomentors test series for my mains preparation for 2021. I had prepared sociology with very limited resource and so i was lacking in content side. Hence I was quite stressed on how to get good marks in sociology paper. However I was able to learn through the standard dimensions approach and current affairs linkage techniques on how to add depth to answers even with limited content. The exercise on how to generate multiple dimensions on various topics using frameworks helped to clear many doubts in my mind. Overall I would like to thank you for enabling me to score 288 in sociology this year even at the face of limited preparation.
